The pictures below are from Mesa Verde National Park. It was an absolutely wonderful place to visit. We went on a half day tour and it was well worth it. It was amazing to see the cave dwelling occupied hundreds of years ago by the Pueblo Indians literally thousands of feet up in the air from the valley below.
We are now in Durango, Colorado and will ride the train tomorrow from Durango to Silverton. Poor Monet has to be boarded. We'll leave here Monday and not sure exactly what our next stop will be.
By the way, two days ago it was 85 degrees, last night it was 33 degrees with a high in the 50's. Guess what....tomorrow it is supposed to snow in Silverton. Upon our arrival today in Durango, it was sleeting and now raining. We have had the heater running ever since we arrived in the campsite.
I heard they cut our two big trees on the golf course down. I guess we need to plant another tree now or we'll roast for sure this summer. Anyone is welcome to go ahead and plant one for us if they want to before we get back (ha)
Luv ya and miss ya,
Joy and Van
