Hello again everyone,
As you can see from the pictures below we visited the Hearst Castle in San Simeon. It was more than we thought it would be. The thousands of acres surrounding this propery are absolutely beautiful.
We have "chickened" out about driving the RV up the coast to Carmel so we have returned to Paso Robles for another night and will head out in the morning for Carmel for 2 nights. We plan to take a day and drive the coast down and back up in the car. Then we'll sight see either a half day or take another day there. After that, we'll head to San Francisco and stay at least 4 nights. We keep finding more and more things we want to see.
For those of you who have seen some of the places we have been visiting you know how beautiful (and barren) some of these areas are. But for any of you who have not seen this country should definitely plan to see as much of it as you can over the years. It is well worth it.
I must share that we haven't driven 5 miles or been in 1 single campground where we haven't seen at least 2 or 3 "CruiseAmerica.com" (or some other brand) Class C. So, you can easily travel and see some of these national parks even if you don't own a rv or want to sleep in a tent (ha).
Oh by the way, my favorite thing on the coach is the washer/dryer we put in at christmas. I just wash a load or two every night....it's cool. Van's favorite item is still the "poop grinder."
Gotta go..luv everyone,
Joy

We are so glad that you are having a good time. How nice to just be able to take your time and enjoy all that you can. What a way to spend the summer!!!
we love you-
oh, and please let Monet know that Afton prays for her every night now. She Afton's new friend. Isn't that funny...must have been the time bonding in the bathroom during the storm!
